Services

Since 2004 Llanteg History Society have held a service at Llanteg Hall every Remembrance Sunday to commemorate our War Dead.

The Hall is open from 10.45 a.m. and the 11a.m. silence is observed - children can then lay small crosses if wished.

SADLY THESE HAD TO BEEN SUSPENDED DURING COVID BUT ARE RECOMMENCING IN 2023.

We also have some information on display and also show our Remembrance movie in a side room afterwards.

2018 Service

Much appreciation to John James for conducting our service.  Once again Llanteg Hall was open for people to pay their respects and for a short service after the 11am silence.
This is the 15th year that the History Society has conducted these services and made more poignant this year as it was the 100th anniversary of the ending of WW1.
As well as our own displays various people had brought in interesting artifacts relating to their ancestors. A s
hort movie made to remember our War Casualties was also on view.
A collection of £32 was made to go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
